Is anyone planning any Trick or Treat events? It would be great to have a list of destinations and to go trick or treating ... or walk around some of the communities (if anyone is home). Im interested in hearing about both adult and "child-friendly" events, but clearly marked please ... Any suggestions or ideas about what the "Trick or Treating" experience would look like in SL? Thanks, Jim ... and all the child avies clamoring for their candy!

Jim, what an idea...in world trick or treating! Wonder if we could pull off something like this. Would be kind of fun to go from house to house.

Oh, I live in an apartment, and Peterg laughs at me each year with the bowl of treats we end up having to eat our selves! It would be fun to try it in SL.
Maybe as well as a treat, you could hand out the landmark for the next place to stop at... half Halloween, half treasure hunt.

As Saul pointed out in his thread in General, this isn't so much a single event as a series ... what locations can we go to for Trick or Treating ... people already planning parties would be a good place to start ... but who are they and where are they. I love the idea of getting the next location from the current one .. then all we need is a starting point. I was hoping to get a list of responses like: "Im having a party that nite, and would be glad to see some trick or treaters, I will be at: .... (insert location) ... and it will be a /very mature/child-friendly/ type party" Surely there are tons of people planning parties already ... we just need to know where they are Jim

Laughs, just be careful of those area's with home security systems or the barriers. Even accidently hitting those means i've got to relog x.x

I believe Kim Anubis was planning a trick or treat walk about in their sim, provided of course enough of the neighbors are interested.
btw, 50 punk points if you can tell me what the title refers to...

Ok I love this idea. I would like to put out an item from me and Vince's shops as a 'treat' for everyone who stops by our place. Gosh someone needs to take the lead and decide WHEN to have this fun event. Anything I can do to help drop me a line . Gonna decorate our large Spanish mansion and get my 'treat' boxes ready. If it happens that would be great, if not I'll still have fun decorating and having a 'goodie bag'.

Yep, gonna do some Trick or Treating in Grindlewald! Here's a pic of the goodie bag I've made up and put at Snow Hotep. My neighbor Leran Charlton, right across the river, has gone absolutely bonkers with decorations and yummy treats -- her place is worth a visit. DaVinci Doctorow (that little fireman in the pic) will probably have something for you soon, too. And I'm working on roping the rest of the neighborhood into the festivities . . .

I don't have a store or club but I'd LOVE to get into this...

I'm far, far at the outer point of the mainland. But I'm sure I can get some neighbors to join in and make it worth someone's while to come so far out. BTW, From: someone *flashing neon sign* Mad Scientist
