Shortage of R&B

I've been to many clubs whether it's "live" music or not. But in the large majority of these clubs all you hear is the same "Rock" music. You don't see clubs playing anything else. For the most part, clubs other then the few top clubs around, are pretty much practically empty.

I know of just one club, just one, that plays strictly R&B. Where are there more clubs like this?

Hey Ricardo,

The best place for music that I have found is the Ivory Manor and that gets pretty packed sometimes. Let me know when you find out!! There's a lot of dodgy music out there!!

Ok, thanks. I'll try to find it and see when they have something going on.

As far as it getting crowded, it's most likely because people want to hear something other then the same constant rock music being played in club after club.

I'll let you know soon as I find out. Thanks again.

OK I went there. It's a sex club but I don't care. They weren't playing R&B, just Rock as do the other clubs. It must of been an off-night as there were only a few scattered people.

It's still not what I'm seeking.

I'm surprised you couldn't find any R&B clubs - all the ones I pop into play nothing else. :-(

Look up the Xanadu space station.

I work at Dusty's Rock n' Country Lounge. We play mostly Country with some classic rock mixed in. I know it's not R&B, but it is different than just Hard Rock. Dusty's is getting more popular every week. The Sim was filled 3 out of 4 events yesterday.

I havn't really found a club that focuses mainly on just R&B... however there are DJs that do play R&B... probably better to scout out the R&B DJs, and goto where they play. Most of the SL clubs book DJs, and each DJ has their own style.

Ricardo, there's a few clubs that play mostly R&B, with a scattering of hip-hop. And on some nights it's strictly R&B. I've seen you in at least one but I'll look for you in game and give you more details.

If you can't find it, create it. I did.

Thank You Jana and everyone else for your responses.

I know only of two clubs which play primarily R&B: Oasis and Natalie's. Natalie's I just recently discovered. It's nice to go to a club where you hear nice smooth music instead of all that shouting, yelling and screaming of most Rock music which is the bulk of the music in clubs.

Just yesterday, a place opened called Sublime. don't know if they 'specialize' in R&B...
but the DJ that was there is Sir Brennan. He's quite good.. he has a good feel for good music, hiphop, electronic, and otherwise.... I'm sure if he has a good R&B appreciative party, he'd be able to handle that.
