96 3hr events in a row...

Stuff like this needs to be moderated much better, and people who do this stuff need to have event privilidges taken away for a period of time (the group not the individual person) since they are just getting multiple people to post them to get around the 5/day limit which shows they know it's wrong.

Seeing as the intended activities of the venue entail hopefully detailed and descriptive text interactions, I see this listing (multitude of listings rather) as a brilliant case of truth in advertising.

I'm not sure whether interior decorators specializing in altars are all that numerous but why they'd exclude them from the fun activities and goings on there I can't for the life of me imagine!

Every once in a while some Linden will say something to the effect of "I intend to police the event calendar some if time allows".

I guess time hasn't allowed.

2 1/2 days-ish since I filed the AR and posted this... still up there... what's the point of having event posting rules when they aren't enforced!

The problem may be that Icedragons the most popular place in Second Life is also doing the same thing. Perhaps the Lindens do not want to stop the Sexcapade. People would then ask why they are not fixing the Icedragons abuse.

The SL Content Providers Association is working to end DI abuses while developing a system that won't so easily be games and support venue owners that give content to SL residents.

I saw mention of a meeting on Saturday the 28th. Will this meeting be attended by any of the Lindens?

Just curious, besides the loss of DI because of abuse, what other support for content creators are being pulled?

We either buy the equipment we need to run a effective venue or pay scripters and builders to design original content for our venues. The costs can be staggering. This attempt to pull the only support Linden Labs provided for its Content Providers has made many venue owners start to liquidate their assests and call it a day. Without support from the company that reaps the benefits of the content we provide content will be hard to find in SL. Hundreds of venue employees will no longer have a income and the economy of SL will take a nosedive.

Thank you, I really did not know if there was anything else (other than dwell). I did not know the DI helped offset costs that much, considering for December over $11,000 US was split between 129 people (average of $90 US per person on the list, I know it is not split evenly, just going by an average). It seems I have learned something new today

I hope LL is working to develop a new way to reward true Content Providers.

What is good to some is trash to others.

Take a piece of art..the Mona Lisa. Some see lovely lines..impressions, mystery. others see paint on a canvas, nothing too interesting.

There is no 'true' content providers, for ALL content providers are content providers.

Sexcapades has its place..admittablty their spamming was wrong, but they STILL PROVIDE CONTENT same as any other 'true' content provider.

I hope LL sticks with dwell and DI based on it. the majority will dictate what they want to see, not a group of 'content judges.'

Even if they only supported your so called 'true' content providers, then there would be more complaints about how it snot as popular. There we go again.. back to no support at all, to keep it fair. hey, you can't censor their support without allowing them to censor yours. Wouldn't be honest.
