The Cradle Will Rock is a musical from the 1930s, written by Marc Blitzstein and originally directed by Orson Wells. Part Blues and Part Ragtime (originally) it holds the distinction of being the only play in the history of american theater for which ARMED FEDERAL TROOPS were dispatched to PREVENT it from being performed. It was dangerous because it was like...pro-union. In an era that had spawned such quotes as "the business of america is business" and which gave us the only other President the history of america to have never created a single new job... It seems to me that this play is highly relevant to life under Bush.

I would like to update this musical...turning it into a rock opera. I would like to see the finished piece performed (complete with actors, set changes etc. ) the way it was originally intended...although never in history given...the sets for.

I am not a programmer, a script kiddie or a building designer. I am just someone with an intimate knowledge of the theatre...someone who would do this in real life if i had the budget for it. In real life, I know my way around set design and scene changes and how to create just about any illusion that I wish which would work FOR REAL in real life.

Is there anyone in second life that is interested in getting this project off the ground ?
