Events Board Major Issue!!!

ok, I am going to try and remain calm whilst typing this... but let me start by saying... the events posting section needs to be fixed...and in a damn hurry.

Where, when you are posting events... does it state that you can only EDIT OR POST 3 events a day? I see the post part...thats fine...a little restricive...but I will go with that. But I see no mention of not being anle to EDIT more than 3 times.

This is a majr issue...due to this problem, i now have one event that is next to useless...and deleted my second event in the hope that i could fix the first one...and still have no luck.
Lindens... if you are going to restrict your valued land owners like this...perhaps you should make an attempt to make it halfway clear of the restrictions on the posting page.
I do not have the time to sit and read through thread after thread of discussion to find which rules currently apply.
Incidently...what difference has it made to the events board with the changes in place? i still see swamping of the board due to multiple land owners in the same area... I see little change at all. The changes have been totally ineffective and something needs to be done to fix this problem in a hurry.
i understand the edit restriction to stop people from moving their times back or forth...but perhaps you could open the text and headers for edit.

maybe...i would hope that the lindens read this board too! luckily... we had a big night anyway... but i still think this system has a lot to answer for!!!

We're going to increase the number of events to 5 per day. We're also changing the posting restriction to allow people on the landowner's 'friends' list post an event.

We limited editing to avoid people repeating the same events over and over (which would be fine except that for the most part they were not real events). Let me look into whether or not there's any way we can be more flexible with the editing.

We'll keep working on making the events calendar more useful. There's a work group of residents forming to talk about the changes that are needed long term, with a focus on filtering and better sorting.
