I am totally confused. Is having events a bad thing? And if so, by who's judgement? This is/was supposed to be a player driven game. Now I understand the need for some rules but this is getting ridiculous. If a lot posts 20 games of Tringo a day and have ppl showing up for each of them, why is that a problem??? Like someone said, so the event calendar is packed. Is that a bad thing?
A very good friend of mine is an island owner. I am his events planner and coordinator for the club he has there. I'm an officer in most of the groups related to the island. However, the island itself is solely owned by him. Why should he have to deed his island to a group for his events staff to be able to post our events? This makes absolutely no sense at all. You are punishing the very people who are paying the most money monthly. Not to mention everyone else.
So other than saying the calendar is a mess, can you give some other justification and explanation for these absurd changes? Is everyone supposed to sit at home twiddling their thumbs in the game? I think a discussion should have taken place between the players and LL prior to this change being snuck in. And snuck in it was. If you value your players, you may want to rethink this and open a dialogue - a real dialogue - to see what WE want.
