EXTREME BOX ON THE HEAD event- feedback?

Is anyone interested in participating in something like this or am I just a bizzare individual (or both)? I'd be making/paying for special animation/gestures for this event and i'd like to know if there's any interest and/or suggestions? thanks.

EXTREME BOX ON THE HEAD aka Borgification SL Style

Ever put a box on your head? Remember the forbidden pleasure of that moment? Recall the embarrassment, the shame, but also the delicious feeling of Box on the Head?

Woo Hoo, everyone’s looking at me! Indulge your secret box fetish (yeah, right!) and join us in… Extreme Box On the Head (ExBOH).

Huh!? What is ExBOH? We’re glad you asked (nods energetically, smiles maniacally)!

ExBOH involves attaching things other than clothing to your extremities utilizing still poses. Things like posts, walls, floors, the kitchen sink, propellers, an aquarium….you get the idea. The more inappropriate it is the better. Once you’ve structurally accessorized yourself, you’ll then seek to combine with others who have gone through the same process, forming a house, ship, airplane, goofy robot and so forth. Only your foolish pride limits you in the amazing absurdity of it all.

You’ll probably want to know how to make an object, move it, scale it and attach stuff to participate. New people are welcome to try though. The goal is not perfection in this case.
Bring a sense of humor or a pink monkey.

The event may incorporate individual contests, team contests or the end of the world, depending on what people feel like doing.

1st prize – No money
2nd prize – No more money
3rd Prize – Even less money

Or maybe a potluck if contestants want to contribute.

Contestants will be judged by each other, some of the best builders in SL or complete newbie’s whom I’m sure will enjoy watching more experienced players put boxes on their head.

I did something like this at DoveVogue before the events salary got cut off... used to do it ever Tuesday and called it "WaCkY TueSDaY"

well.. have fun.... it is really funny, we did it while we dance.. non stop... if anyone wants to host it at DoveVogue again... let me know...

Sounds like a great event! Loved the way you wrote it up. Would be a great way for new players to feel less intimidated by putting boxes on their heads (or through, or anywhere else), by seeing others do it and having a good laugh. I remember someone telling me they walked around for a couple of weeks wearing a box as they thought it was a skirt! LOL!! As a newbie, that made me feel much better and much less embarrased that I put one on my head for a minute.

Alex, as we have talked before, the club is still available for your use along with whatever music you request. I will provide the prizes and money ball. Feel free to drop in anytime. Open invitation to all. WetSpot Dance Club.

If you ever do that again, you should hold it on a Wednesday. Think about it... think about it.
