With so many SL members living in the Mid-Atlantic & New England areas a group of NJ members are in the preliminary stages of organizing a RL event for this summer at the "Jersey Shore"
At the moment we are thinking that late August would be a great time, with the venue somewhere along the shore, from Pt Pleasant to Atlantic City/Wildwood.
We would like to hear from you! If this sounds interesting and is something you might like to attend please contact us. Attach your comments, questions or suggestions here. We will be checking here often as we meet to decide if this is a worthwhile idea!
We will provide updates here as well.
We hope we will get a good response and look forward to seeing you in August!

Hmm... NJ is still quite a drive for those of us in the north eastern part of the US. ^^ About an 8 hour trip depending on where the event is held from where I am. And that's even with the shortest/quickest route selected from my GPS. ^^ Though well within a tank of gas if I use cruise control and let my Prius handle the gas. ^^

Just curious

Hey why would you make this RL meeting? Isnt SL to give you an alternate identity? Have a "Second Life" I think combining the two lives might be dangerous. Anyways im more curios what you guys will do? Hangin out with SL ppl in RL at the shore would be wierd for me. It would be like hanging around the sandbox but with no building / scripting powers AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.........So just a BBQ then i suppose?
