what about places?: stupidest question ever

Yes, I'm proud.
So I know how to post an event, but how do you put a general listing in the "places" section of search?
A friend of mine just put up a gallery on his land in-world, and I know everyone else has these neat listings with a snapshot and descriptions with keywords and all that. How the heck is that done?
I feel like an idiot for not knowing something so simple, but I just haven't found any info on it anywhere. So can anyone help me out?

Hello Valerie!

It isn't a stupid question at all.

If you're talking about your friend listing his gallery in Search, then it's quite simple:

-Take a snapshot or create something cool via a graphics program and upload it
-The owner of the land (or a manager I suppose) goes to the top tool bar: World > About Land
-Go to the Options tab. You can enter info there, and you'll see a place where you're cool pic goes...click on that and it will take you to your inventory and you can choose the one you want
- There is a place to check if you want the land to show up in Search for L$30/week, and under which category you'd like it to be in
-Give it a bit..I think it took a few minutes for mine to appear and I'm not sure how it is done now

Then post a cool event and let the fun begin (and don't forget to send me an invite!! I love art galleries!)
