I am kinda curious: What is your favorite place for hosting or attending events in Second Life? And why? :-)

Stage 4! Maybe just sentimental reasons, since when I started SL a year ago that was kind of the hub of SL social life (outside of the, then small, M rated club scene that kept Federal full of green dots 24/7). It still feels like the most inviting, friendly place to drop in on an event and sort of come and go without feeling like you have to answer to somebody or that someone is just using you for dwell or popular places points.
I also love it because it's one of the best places to run into new faces and people maybe attending their very first event, so as a host or attendee of an event at Stage 4, you get the chance to make new friends and (hopefully) help make a good impression on others of what SL has to offer.

I like hosting in places that are targetted - not mega clubs. I am hosting in a small European run venue, in a European time zone with a predominantly European crowd. You just wouldn't get that from a mega venue.

The best events are ones that have thought behind them - not just the poor sexiest avatar ones. The best club events here are the weekly Avarice ones as they have interesting ideas.

We are stuck with lots of places to go - all of which are the same. I have no desire to cyber or stand AFK for the money ball.

Creativity is the key - even if it doesn't work you can always try something else.

No Preference

I guess I am odd one. I like events anywhere. But i prefer Mature over PG. The reason is I I dont like when an event is turned into a discussion on what is PG and what is Not.

Also i Have found i do not like hosting at Escort Heave Tip me Jars all over places. So as much as i prefer Mature it isnt for sexual content reasons as much as less restirction expectations on Language.

The beach at Prainha!

Open space, sandy beaches, gorgeous views, great mountains, no lag, and best of all bikinis!

The High Society Night Club & Poker Room (Zuni)
- Classy venue, no strippers/escorts, no flashy particles, one of a kind club.

The Laka Lounge & Resort (Laka)
- Beautiful resort on the river featuring many waterfalls, zen rock garden, lush landscaping, pagodas and lounge areas.

Check them out, Now hiring hosts for both venues.

On the edge of a sim.. That way you can turn your camera towards the ocean and cut the lag immensely.
