October is Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Come visit the SL Silent Witness event through the month of October. Information on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault will be available, as well as contact numbers for national help centers.
There will be a Silent Witness Display in honor of those that have lost their lives due to Domestic Violence. If you have lost a loved one, contact myself, Ziolla Magpie, to have a witness displayed in their memory.
The Silent Witness Program, founded in 1990, has made a powerful national and global impact against domestic violence homicides. The mission of Silent Witness is to promote peace, healing, and responsibility in adult relationships in order to eliminate domestic murders.
