Just Curious to who would be interested or would find this fun....

I was just zonen at my pc... watchen my sexy AV shake her booty... trying to think of different types of events to hold. Well, after all that pondering, I did come up with one idea. But, being the type that likes to know other's opinions, I'm askin for it.

My Idea... An SL Car Show. (I'm not sure if someone has already done this or not)

I have a car in SL and I love showin' it off, in fact, since I have yet to learn how to drive I use it as my dancing stage all the time (gets detail on a regular basis!). BTW, if anyone has any hints that may be useful in learning to drive, I would much appreciate it!

)

OK... Car Show... We'll line up those Beauties and have peeps vote on 1st and 2nd place, which will be cash prizes.... Also thinkin of throwin' in those motorcycles for all you Bikers out there!

So, tell me what you think... good or bad... I can take it!
Gonna maybe try this sometime this week so keep an eye on the events

Great idea! With the one stipulation that they bring their original builds and not just one that they bough somewhere

I have seen car shows but they were the kind where you entered your particular model in the show, not one that you had to create yourself. But I've been racking my brain to come up with some truly original events and if not truly original, at least some that are different and enjoyable to the masses.

Good idea.

I've been to many car shows and I've never seen any blood relative of Henry Ford or Enzo Ferrari standing proudly next to their creations. It's always the purchasers. However, the cars are judged according to their condition and deviation from original spec (the less, the better). That is completely irrelevant in SL, as cars don't degrade over time.

Having a show highlighting original creations is a good idea. To make it interesting, all the vehicles could be lined up and on display, rather than a one-at-a-time show-and-tell style. So you can have time where people can just walk around and admire before judging.

Another option would be for car creators to give mod rights to the model, let buyers customize their rides, and let the buyers show those off. Now that I would love to see, and will volunteer to help set up. Hell, I'll volunteer help set anything up, 'cause I love cars.

I totally agree with the original builds. A friend also pointed out that there would not be doubles of cars to, so no ties for the event.
