When I go to the event calendar (from the SL home page), nothing happens when I click on events. Clicking on the host leads somewhere, and sometimes I can get to a listing for the event.
Is this how it is supposed to work? Is it just a list of events with no idea where or when they are? It didn't used to be that way before the website was "improved".
I'm normally in Firefox on a Mac. But I have also tried Safari, and Internet Explorer and Firefox from my Windows partition.
The "links" say something about Javascript. All of my browsers are set to allow it, and it's up to date.
Am I missing something obvious here?

When I click on an event it shows as the picture/text on the top. Click that and you get the event.
I agree, it's harder to use.

It's just that when you scroll down to click on events, you don't see box at the top. I see that box when I go to the page, but just assumed the event producer had paid LL for an ad.

Sometimes I can't remember if I've posted one and have to fumble through that slow-scrolling list.

I would like more sophisticated filters, e.g. for time and rating - duh.

I'd take anything that would make it less painful.
