Trouble with Events not listing

Hi...the last three or four days..all the events I've posted seem to have a huge time delay before they hit the event list. One event took over an hour and it still did not post. I was under the impression that we are able to post events 1/2 hour before if need be. Has anyone else been noticing this? I've been posting events regularly for months now and only just noticed this one hiccup this week. Thank you!!

Transaction history is lagging behind a whole lot, so I'd guess if in-world to site is experiencing a horrible delay, the same is true for site to in-world when posting events.

Not only have I noted when you mentioned Caspian , I am back to getting an error when trying to post an event for today " invalid event description" please try again! I reported this to a linden 2 weeks ago, I was able to post events all week with no problem and now today there are issues again! Come on LL, let's get this fixed so people who have events they need to post can do so!

To play it safe you have to post the event the night before to make sure it shows up. This has been a issue for weeks and no blog entry acknowledging it to date.

Yes, i had the same experience, Events taking for ever to post.

Now, it's even worse, it's not even showing our land!!! I can't post anything! Reporting has not yielded an answer yet .

I seem them now taking OVER 24 hours to post... and currently, a set of events I posted over 24 hours ago is currently on the website, but NOT IN-WORLD.

Argh.

Hi ..I posted my event about noon yesterday..it is now 4 a.m. ...approx. 15 hours later and still not showing....this is answer to query......

This 'running behind at the moment' has lasted a number of days now..
Post list 'broken' may be a better term.

Will the Lindens excuse my delay in monthly payment with the same patience I am supposed to have in excusing their delay? This just is NOT right!

This is a MAJOR issue when attempting to conduct business within SL...a definate FUBAR!

Well i have had the same probs this week.
One event was posted 16 hours before and didn't show up anywhere.
When i went into events on the SL-HP i could see it but my in-game wife and club co-owner couldn't see it on her site.
Strange was as well that i saw 4 events (including mine) posted there for 12:30 pm but they all couldn't be found in game.

I just jope that the *bitterness and sarkasm on* glorious Linden Labs *bitterness and sarkasm off* will work on that issue asap cause this is really a major problem.
Land and business owners pay and pay and pay and to get their business running even such a n important thing does not work.
That's not what i call service and support.
In other games you get your money back or some spare time on the game for the time the program has issues which reduce the fun in game.

Diana...the invalid description error will happen if you are trying to paste something that you created in Word or another program (I think because of font but not 100% sure).

I know that my manager has submitted a number of bug reports to LL about the postings. Been almost 3 weeks that this has been a noticed issue.

Actually, I had the same problem, and I did not cut and paste the description. I typed it right in the box.

This is so frustrating!

I've been through 20 iterations with this, thinking it might be too many paragraphs, wrong characters, etc. Sigh.. I pay over $100 USD in land fees per month, and can't post a frikken event

Fix it! I will even come down there and fix it myself.. you know how to reach me.

Hey Bucky,i had the same problem too.
We only have been able to post 1 short sentence with 8 words maximum.If it was more we had the same message.

I have the same problem, I'm starting a new club, is difficult to make a name in this industry, club's peek traffic is always at events, but last week I cant list events, and when I list one then SL crashes or teleports dont works, or money transffers fail

I've posted 3 events to make a test, right now, for today, tomorrow and in a 2 days, and non of them is listed.

I hope this will solve soon, we should make a giant complaint agains linden and how things are working last moths.

Well,i am with you with every petition,complain,demonstration and whatever.
I can't understand why LL doesn't put their focus more on this essential issue.

The changing log on screens are nice,but these are things i can think of when everything else works perfect or at least well.

Staff and I posted 5 events last night for this weekend - The 8Am event showed up for today and the 9AM event showed up for Sunday. So we are a event venue and no one knows we are having events. I suppose we have a choice: either no search listings or no event listings. Could it be because all of the free accounts that clog the grid and slow down the asset server? Seems like a recurring theme.

Less functionality, less customer service and a increase in prices.

I've noticed they are now recommending on the events posting page that you post your events 24-48 hours in advance. But this weekend oddly enough whatever I posted went in almost immediately. Hard to tell from one day to the next how far in advance to post!
