I was in high school visiting a friend and he had just gotten a bass guitar and amp. I was hooked. My mother gave me her acoustic guitar and offered to pay for guitar lessons and I ended up taking classical somehow. As far as musical styles my mind was opened to whole new worlds. Since then I have explored many styles of music. The wide spectrum of metal and rock, 80's alternative, blues, jazz, folk, classical, reggae, mariachi and so on.
