I dunno about anyone else but the absence of event support strikes me as the reason why Show n Tells disappeared practically overnight.

People demand cash prizes, which takes cash.

I host at Oak Grove every Sunday at 6pm Linden Time and we do have a great time. Lots more are coming every week and that means MORE to See!

Whether you enter or just enjoy the show, its great fun to see what residents are making.

Hope you can join us!

thats becould every one will hold that same event that every one else is doing just to get traffic , sell their weres, event support and so on thats why soo many club, casinos and tringo came aboutthe draw of free money.

Yes, as mentioned, I hold S&T's every Sunday, at 2 or 3 PM (it varies sometimes). I have my Sunday late nights (that's in Europe :-) free most of the time, and I enjoy doing it. I enjoy seeing people get creative, invent things i've never even though of or saw.

Thanks to donations, I come out around even or maybe paying only a bit for the prizes. Luckily, the voting board lets me award up to 5 contestants (if there are many contestants), so that might help get not only the best builder go home happy and recognized :)

I think I've also raised the bar with streaming music (synced to the event), special entry animation and the voting board. If you come, i hope you can agree with that :)

hi :)

I host a show and tell for noobies (3 months old and under) every Tuesday night at 6pm. They stopped for a few weeks while I was on vacation, but are now back underway.

I'm also accepting donations! I DO get help from my New Citizens Inc group (we sponsor this event) but any help sure is appreciated! I give out the standard 500L total in winnings as it was before the changes. Only seems fair.

I also accept little gifties (copiable) for the Prize Pack I give out to each person who enters. I want to make sure that every wins something :D

Currently I give out a mix of shoulder pets, fun free dance anims, female & male body shapes, raver sparkles, fun vehicles etc.

There have been some amazing entries since I started doing this few months ago! I also think its important to have a more level playing field for newer residents to feel more confident in coming forward with their creations :)

I'm also planning on hosting one every week.. Things got a little confusing this week and the last time I held it no one showed up.. Still can't figure that one out. I mean, someone ALWAYS shows up for a show and tell.

So, they are not dead, Ben.. just in hiding.

I am raising awareness for a foundation I'm forming to help subsidize great events (like show and tells). Read more here, and by all means I need your help so respond to the linked thread with your thoughts and interest!

One problem is marketing them. They get clobbered by Tringo and ALLCAPSPARTIES on the events listing.
