I'm having a Fashion Show

The first in my club and I was wondering if anyone had idea of who I should invite or tell about the show so I can get the most people there which will benefit the designer.

Like I said this is the first show I'm having at my place and I just want to make sure I have the right people there for the show... is there a Group I should join that would give me the best contacts in the Fashion World of Second Life?

The show is going to be next week Wednesday, so I less than five days to get the word out about this... any help will be TOTALLY appreciated.

I posted it on the Second Life Event Board... and will of corse post it to my group, Blizzbaby Magic, the designer's group and Uptown Model, the group with the models... just want to know if there are people I should personally invite to the show

The group owner of Fashion Show Fan's Unlimited, is going to post about it in her group... and she recommened I contact Nemi Mccoy for Runway and maybe Celebrity Trollop for Second Style which I will as soon as I can get back into SL *whispers to self 'I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry'*

So any suggestions on who else I should contact? And if anyone knows any of the people I mentionded and you can get into SL... can you ask them to IM me. please please please.

Hi. First of Congratulations on your first ever Fashion Show.

I am new to SL so I don't know if there are specific people in SL yet but, I have been to many shows as well as in them when I was younger.. so Here is my list..

PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!! and ALOT of them.. Great way to promote you Club while Promoting your Designer

SECURITY!!!! Keep all running smoothly

NEWS PAPERS/ MAGAZINES!!! another Great was for publicity

DJs or a Band.. You'll need some great music for the runway

Emcee.. Unless you will be narrating the whole show yourself

Food/Drink.. but that is in RL and I doubt SL people need to eat

Good luck, we had a fashion show last year and it was so much hard work! But it sounds like you are doing the right things. Are you only having 1 designer? A few would be good as that promotes your show to more groups. But basically use the designers groups and get them to promote at their shops, use the event listings, this forum and public groups. Promote with boards at your club and use your regulars to spread the word......but hope it goes ok and good luck.
