Working on new property and plan to have one of these games. I know some people think none, but I want one. :) Which would you go with? Personally, I like playing Slingo, but think the new game Quintzee will really catch on because is new and fast to play. Help! :)

Honestly if you are looking for dwell, I would go with Tringo. At Clio City Tringo seems to draw the most people. However, if you think Quintzee will catch on, then I would go with that one, because not a lot of venues offer it as a game. Being one of the first to have it may make you a popular choice to go to as the game becomes more popular. If you are just looking for fun though, go with Slingo since you like playing.

I am biased of course heh but sl-ingo has always done well for me, that being said scrambler is a ton of fun and has also brought in alot of people when we run it.

Also consider bowling which can run 24 hours aday with or without a host has a high score of the day pay out and allows for creating a social enviroment as well as a game that includes luck and skill. Bowling can be seen at ImagineNation at the Acropolis Bowling Alley.

Tringo......
07-26-2005 07:07
Tringo..... because now that the hype has died down and everyone is sick of seeing tringo & slingo on the events calender a lot of the regular places have stopped offering Tringo. For Tringo addicts.... well, you see my point. I know there seems like a lot of places offeirng it but it's usually 2 places that battle for the addicts ....... both of which are lagged to death for those of us with slower comps or slower connections. A low lag Tringo would be well attended.

another idea...... watch the events schedule..... see what's being done the most. Offer the one that is not being scheduled enough.

Personally I thought Lindenaire would catch on. I love playing it but no one offers it much.

I say quintzee for a few reasons

#1. yes tringo and slingo are popular and well known, but quintzee is the "just becoming" game so you'll end up with alot of slingo/tringo addicts.

#2. The tringo creator lives right beside me, so I say from experience, tringo can become laggy at times. Slingo is even worse. Being the first club to have quintzee.. we have never experienced lag og any sort.

#3. If one of your club "themes" is to welcome new residents, you can be 90% sure the will know how to play quintzee already so its not as confusing for them

#4. Although Kermitt (tringo creator) is a sweetheart, so is Vortex(quintzee creator)

Give Vortex a chance. You wont be disapointed

Actually got to play Quintzee for a few games last night (won the first 2 games...woohoo) and it is a fun game. Congrats Vortex on designing a great game! Still haven't made up my mind yet....so hard to pick only one. Any ideas which one creates less lag or how many prims they take?

Thanks again for all the advice and opinions. You guys are great! :)

As Creator of Quintzee I can only say, that the game doesn't give much lag.

Primwise it's perhaps the highest of the four :

25 Prims for the score board
45 per each Quintzee card

I totally agree, there are like 2 places that offer tringo regularly and there is virtually no where to play anymore! Quintzee (from what I heard, I have not played it yet) is hard to win and thus discouraging and Slingo is still everywhere but a lot of people don't like Slingo because it's all pure luck and no skill. Go with Tringo.

Check out the new Blood 21 (only opened a couple of days ago) at Castle Akasha before you make your decision. It's a fun game and if you are concerned about prims, it's only 9 prims per card, I believe.

Thanks for the tip on the new game Blood 21. I caught the tail end of an event for it tonight and it looked good. Not a bad crowd there and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. I didn't get to play, I just watched, mostly because I found the play instructions a little confusing. hehe...guess I'm not a very quick learner...I know my bf would have understood it right off...hehe. Looked very promising and does require some skill and strategy, for those that are looking for more than luck to win.

Have to say I am a little concerned about the amount of prims used by the games, because of the other plans I have for the property. Can anyone who has Slingo and Tringo post the amount of prims they require? It would be greatly appreciated. :)

Thanks again for all the great info!

BLOOD 21 Rocks!!

I would check out Blood 21 - it is currently just premiering at Castle Akasha but I believe it is going on the market within next few days. The prim count is much lower and it is new and equally as addicting as Tringo.

A lot of people have disdain for Slingo as it is more like slots and less like a game, but really its your land so pick the one you enjoy. Check out Blood 21 before making your decision this way u have played them all and can choose.

Definitely be aware of those prim counts too :)

A low lag Tringo would be well attended.

Can anyone say oxymoron? Should read "A low attended Tringo would be well lagged" :) Ok, I'm just poking fun, but really I'm serious. No, just kidding.

No I'm not.
