Thank you for your interest in helping us with this venture project. We are aiming at creating a total 'Third Place Experience' on this sim by creating a totally different atmosphere that will not only engage but change the characters of all of our visitors and even our members!

This is the most comprehensive explanation of our goals to date. We hope that this can shed some light and understanding on what we are trying to accomplish and exactly how YOU can help us accomplish that goal.

4/12/06 NOTE: We have taken off the privacy limits so people can start visiting but the information below won't take affect until April 28th, when everything is set up and completed. Thanks for your patience.

I. Events

Our events are not going to be like the events that you see on the 'Find' menu right now. We're aiming for a totally different style of events which will not only entertain but engage our guests in a way that they haven't been involved in thus far. We are talking about events that will challenge them and create competition, such as Fashion Walk-Offs with a panel of judges that will rate them with 'No-Holds Barred' attitude to Dancehall Competitions where the group with the best moves will win a set prize! There are so many ideas that we are waiting to introduce, but we need a very talented and engaging staff that aren't afraid to interact with people and challenge their minds.

a. STAFF

i. The Nautical Star Club: We are hiring staff for the following positions:
Bouncers, Dancers, DJs, etc

ii. The Goonies Club: We are hiring staff for the following positions:
Bouncers, Dancers, DJs, etc

iii. The Projects: We are hiring staff for the following positions:
Lawyers, Taxi Drivers, DJs, Random Entertainers, etc

(If you are interested in any of these positions and require more information, IM Kristoph Leandros for the Nautical Star Club or Novel Popinjay for The Goonies or The Projects.)

II. Non-Event Situations

There are also going to be many situations where we might not be having an event but if there are a number of people on the island we want people to be able to feel welcomed or at least involved in a way, so we'd like our staff to simply welcome our guests or even involve them in a 'spur-of-the-moment' storyline. Maybe someone stole something or committed some sort of crime and you need them to help find them? Maybe you just want them to pass off some drugs to someone for 10$L. Of course they'll be wondering what in the hell you're talking about but they will do it if you ask them, because people love being involved.

III. Groups

There will be various groups all over the island that 'represent' certain areas. They are listed and detailed below:

The Wallstreet Group: The forefathers and original members of The Projects, these are the guys who made all of this that you see before you happen. They have different sets that they have founded but they all still share a common bond of friendship, respect and prosperity.

The Nautical Star Syndicate: They represent the general area around the Nautical Star Club, sometimes frequent the Flame Bar and even venture into the Goonsquad Territory to hang out with some of their associates. While this group is sometimes tagged as misfits and vandals, this rag-tag group of skaters, goths, punks and metalheads are not to be taken lightly. When it comes down to scrapping they prefer melee weapons but even their leader, Kristoph, has been known to draw guns if necessary.

Goonsquad: The hooligan thug citizens of this sim. They are the hip-hoppers, the thugs, the rappers and the drive-by shooters that get it poppin' 'All Day Every Day'. Distinctly recognized by their baggy jeans and bandanas, these are some real ass niccas who will not take anyone disrespecting their set. The Goonsquad are very sociable, however, and are very fond of throwing parties filled with liquor and 'big booty hoes'. Definitely a set to get down with if they're throwing a bash, but definitely NOT a set to cross.

Second Life Police Department: The outsource police department of the sim, they are here to keep the law and order. Although they have been known to be bribed before, on the regular basis if you are caught by a cop, comitting a crime you will be stopped, interrogated and possibly incarcerated. Whenever you think about committing a crime, maybe the old black man will appear on your shoulder, "Don't to that nicca! That's 25 to life!"

The Corner Newsteam: These are the journalists and reporters who get the beef, dirt and scoop on the Projects and everything that's going down. They send in their reports to the editors who make the story happen, hot off the presses, in The Corner Paper! They are the most talented Newsteam in the region and they're here to bring YOU the news, first!

Your Group: Yes, that's right! You want to start a set that'll chill here? We have tons of hidden spots and hang-out places that you can tag up to high heaven and make your own! We want you to move in. We want you to feel comfortable here and if you want to make your own set that you feel would be popular, you can move in. If you have enough members in your group, you can even be represented on one of the flag poles!

IV. Outside Sims

Outside sims are a touchy subject. As we have already had altercations with other outside sims, we don't want any out-of-character trouble with any of the sims like Los Altos or South I. We're here just for everyone to have fun and if they want to fight in-character it's all good just as long as when the day's done everyone walks away with a smile on their face!
