~On monday January 2, 12 men lost their lives in a catostrophic deep mine explosion, Friday 8pm to Sunday 8pm, this event is planned to donate 100% of the proceeds to fund for the families of these men.
If you have items to donate, please contact cinda Hoodoo, or Lily Pussycat in game, if possible please box high prim items ahead of time for us.

I can't get in game at the moment as I'm at work - but there is a Sago mine memorial in game - search and you'll find it. Might be worth linking up with the guy behind that.

Yes that memorial was made by our first friend and mentor in SL, Echo Dragonfly, he was in the second group of miners that barely escaped that day. If anyone has a chance to visit this memorial, please do, its incredibley touching.
