I was just reading the rather obstinate and meandering thread on "War on Jessie: Is it Upon Us?" and developed an idea...

Would people be interested in organizing a sim where land "ownership" (probably more like single or group ownership with usage rights) is decided by a capture-the-flag system?

That is, would people think it would be cool to have land that you really did have to fight to keep?

I'd make this a poll, but I'm more interested in hearing thoughts...

p.s. Yeah, I know there are some important logistical issues that would need to be resolved, but I can work on them...

capture the flag would be fun

but arent the weapons so rediculous now

i just flew through jessie.... and suddenly died
no noise no bullets no nothing, no one was even around to my knowledge

we would have to have a set list of weapons

perhaps have the lindins make an area for this

and disable flying

this is how you used to aquire land in SL (about 9 months ago)! it was called a land rush. if you weren't quick with your mouse you could end up loosing a piece of land from right under your nose.

it was very exciting/entertaining and a source of much drama.
