As popular as Salsa events are and as many people as it normally pulls, why aren't there more clubs doing this?

Also, just because the music happens to be spanish doesn't mean it's salsa. For instance: Gloria Estefan plays as much salsa as you and me. Her music, although spanish is not salsa. Yet, that's all that was played at a recent "salsa" event.
I've been to many clubs announcing Salsa, yet nothing on there with maybe the exception of one, two or three songs are salsa.

If you're going to make a "Salsa" event and those that do - do it because they know it pulls people - then get someone who actually knows the music or do your homework and get the correct music. Put out what you're annoucing.

Why don't you host a 'real' Salsa event yourself - show everyone how it's done. I'll go:)
