PR/Events Manager

Hi all, I didn't know where to post this particular request, but I feel this is the best spot. I'm interested in becoming a PR/Events Manager (to be more specific, in the model and fashion industry) but the only experience I have is being a hostess. I am signing up for modeling classes, which I think will gain me further experience in the industry, but are there any classes out there that just focus on being a PR?
