This is soooo cool. http://plasticbugs.com/index.php?p=241If you can't afford photoshop and were used to using it, or want to understand people's tips on here better, GIMP is freeware---yes, free, without violating anyone's copyright. But people didn't want to use it because they were more used to photoshop, or everyone who could help them was more used to photoshop, or the way GIMP did things was sometimes obscure. Well, this guy wrote "GIMPshop" which redoes GIMPs menus and options to be as much like photoshop as possible. If you're not real computer savvy, you might want to get a friend who is to pull down and install GIMP and GIMPshop for you, but it's FREE! No, these people don't pay me. Or sleep with me. LOL I can't afford photoshop and this is so cool knowing I'm going to be able to take other people's tips and apply them directly to my projects. Anyway, I thought I'd share the news, because I can't be the only one out there short of cash. Blue

I'm perfectly happy with my copy of Photoshop Elements, which I got for free with my scanner. A bit out of date and doesn't come close to regular PS, but it suffices for everything I want to do short of 3D work, for which I have Shade 7.
