What is a W-HAT? I have only been on for about a week or so and I never heard of them. Is this some mean group? Why does SL allow them to be in the game if they are?

Quick answer - an inworld group at least originally founded by Something Awful forum goons (their word, not mine). Seems to attract its share of free minded anarchists and raging asshats alike. A lot of the more drama-filled builds and moments in SL have a W-Hat member lurking about. I believe its open membership, so its kind of pointless to blame the group as a whole or to eradicate the group. The same jerkoffs will still fuck around, just under a different title.
