The announcement that today is patch day is buried under a lot of other announcements. I can see where it'd be easy to get confused if you miss the post the day its posted. Its too bad LL didn't put up a sticky for today's downtime - I think a lot of newer residents would be less confused. _____________________

SL is down maybe twice a month? Which isn't bad as far as I'm concerned.. It is definatly not down 1 day in 7..

WoW is down for 1/2 a day every week and no one is screaming for blood there. Most MMOs have a weekly maintainance day.
