Sorry if this is in the wrong forum...

Today I tried to login to my main account and got a message that my account was disabled. It said to visit the website to reactivate my account... so I did just that and couldn't find any information on how to reactivate my account.

What exactly does this mean? I made this character and logged on and tried to do a search for that account and the name doesn't come up!!

I don't even know that I did anything wrong... so what is the meaning for something like this to happen? :(

It means you have to call LL and have them re-enable the account. Usually they are disabled for non-payment.

I thought that might be the case... but if so why wouldn't the message just say that?? Argh, it just confuses poor people like me :)

I'm not sure though... I'm very wary of giving out personal info online, much less credit card info. Is LL/SL really safe to hand that info out to?

If you don't feel comfortable with using a CC or DC then find somewhere that sells the American Express Gift Cards or some other gift card from a CC company. I used the AmerExp gift cards when I was paying for my premium account. You can get them for up to $200 USD and have a year to use them before they start charging a small fee. They expire in 2 years but are re-chargable through AmerExp.

I gave mine to them 6 months ago, no problems so far.

Oh thanks! That's a great idea... I would've never thought of it but I think I'll end up doing that :)
