Ive created a multi-track sound studio in SL, please come try it out. (I think its the first of its kind in SL.) It's not done yet but it's playable. Shamrock 47,173

Fun!
We need more sound related features (or at least MOD playback) in SL.

From: Candide LeMay Fun! We need more sound related features (or at least MOD playback) in SL. Yes... the benefits of being able to pitchbend are immeasurable. We can, of course, already do this to a degree with doppler shifting, but it's awkward to move an av away+towards to change the sound. Fantastico pad, Octal. Your hizzouse just keeps betting BETTAH!

(fun with headphones) Not exactly precise but it adds a neat random element to the whole thing. And of course you can always tweak the Prefs->Sound->RolloffFactor to increase/decrease the spatialization. From: Torley Torgeson Fantastico pad, Octal. Very funky work Octal! Had fun playing with it earlier. It's a shame that loops are the only way to get tight timing in SL at the moment. Playing with your studio today made me drag out a drum machine I started to put together a while ago - thought I'd try it in my pretty much totally empty sim, hoping that timer events would be more accurate, but working with timer events is still too hit and miss unfortuantely. Oh if only, mind you I've always fancied putting something more freeform together, where tight timing wouldn't exactly matter as much, that could still be quite interesting.
