If you're having any problems with the stream, try these; sorry for any glitches. :-)

Got to hear some of Frogg and Jaycatt finishing up with Freebird....

then some 'prim with your lights on in the parking lot' jokes.

sounds like a good concert.... just wish I could hear something that had anything to do with Second Life. I hope LL is paying these artists well.

Is anyone else able to access the media stream/video stream this morning? I've tried both in Quicktime and Winamp and neither are working. TY for reply.

No luck here yet either - although its possible it's just switched off as nothing is happening yet.

I have my video screen set up as a relay station... let's hope it does start working otherwise I have a bit of a 'non event'.

I haven't. I guess it's not up yet, or maybe it's maxed out on connections.

To the people having trouble viewing the feed. Yesterday, I used vnc and it worked well. With realplayer I was getting an error. So try it with vnc.

As they were advertising relay screens and suchlike of their own, I would have guessed they'd be using a high capacity stream, so my money is either on it simply not being up yet, or some kind of technical failure.

Well, I was getting "Can't Find URL" from Quicktime all morning, so I figured maybe it wasn't up since the convention hadn't started yet. As of now though, we're 11 minutes in, and it's still not working. I now get either "Bad Request" or "Timed Out" every time. Anyone having better luck?

If so, what did you do?

Flipper posted another thread with a new URL - rtsp://media1.servercave.com/breakfast.sdp - it works in QT but for some reason they've picked a format that isn't compatible with viewing in Second Life. None of those with me expecting to watch it seem to be able to in-world.

VLC. VNC is a remote desktop app.

Here's the download page for VLC. It will play almost any media you throw at it with no need for codec downloads.

We've got it working now... if anyone wants to drop by my place, it's above the disco, and I'll leave the stream connected all weekend.

Seriously, though - whoever is operating the camera is drunk out of their gourds. Hello! Point the camera at the person who's talking!

I'm wondering if the Q&A with Cory and Philip was the last thing they planned to show, I missed the Secondcast bit and whatever came later last night because the stream just said "Not Found". I was sad :(. I'm hoping video will be available after it's over with because there's a lot I'd like to see.
