I don't think direct to CC would be a viable option, based on the CC transaction fees. Considering that probably a plurality of object purchases are for $L1000 or less, it would mean that the credit card transaction fees would be a substantial portion of the RL cost of the object. That would eat into LL's cut in a big way.
Doing it via Lindex gives users incentive to buy larger blocks of cash, lowering the CC fee to $L transacted ratio.

YOu need another check box: I woudn't buy more content now matter how you billed it.
I try to create most of what I need. I simply don't have extra real-world $$ to throw at SL, and the stipend I do get goes toward texture uploads and such.
