Relay for Life Charity Ball results - virtual world, real love.

In the last 24 hours, the citizens of the Independent State of Caledon have come together to make a deeply meaningful difference in people's lives.


A formal Charity Ball for the American Cancer Society hosted by Leosanni Somme, Elvawin Rainbow and Cavallo Udal was held directly across from Chessboard Park in the heart of Caledon.

This was a massive undertaking, as anyone who has organised such a thing knows. Jade Lily, as liason, made the whole thing possible.

The event was a smashing success - a grand ballroom event that Elizabeth and Mr Darcy would have been very comfortable with, in their time.



Bottom line: in roughly 24 hours, the donation kiosks and the event raised over $L 226k for a very worthy cause, and it's still climbing.

That's almost seven hundred dollars. It was very low key; very classy, no screaming telethon, just people quietly giving in proportion to their ability to do so.
