One minute I'm showing a newbie around in SL, wearing my Buzz Lightyear outfit.

He asks "does the wrist laser work?"

I show him.

Honestly, that's the question I get asked the most! And the laser bolts don't do anything... they disintigrate harmlessly.

The next thing I know, someone nearby has hit me with a bounce script that hits me every time I walk in to the sim... I couldn't even get back to the person I was showing around.

Sheesh. Is it just my imagination, or are the "anti-grief" devices sometimes worse than the grief they're supposed to prevent?

Did you get pushed "to infinity and beyond"? (Someone had to say it. Now you have two questions about which to be bothered.)

Aggressive security systems are annyoing. ALL should have some kind of warning. I was trying to fly to a Christmas build to take pictures today and it took me three tries to get there because of someone's security system teleporting me home, without warning. It's stupid, and the people who put up these security systems are stupid.

That rarely happens to me for some reason. I kinda hope it does though, I'm just itching to file an abuse report.

Rigging the bullets to rename themselves to their keys on_rez works wonders. Rigging two or three different attachment to detect ACTIVE collissions works well. Presently I'm not sure if we have option to detect being pushed.

on_push(integer i)
{
about_to_pay = llDetectedOwner(1);
llInstantMessage(about_to_pay,"I''ma gonna hurta you!";);
..etc...etc...etc
}

Yeah, but really, how do you know anything has been done after you have filed an abuse report. All I ever get is "report resolved" but that doesn't tell me squat :(
