I find there is no problem at all with sitting. Standing up however, it's like I'm stuck in bullet-time forever. That is, when I'm not sending people IMs with no name!

I agree there is an issue with sitting. I generally find I sit some distance away, but if I select the chair and move it I "snap" to the chair as if I had been there.
I have been most annoyed with pose balls *sitting foos...get your minds out of the gutter.* I have to select right on the ball even if its linked to the chair. usually takes about three tries to sit properly in the correct direction. _____________________

I was told (and tested it myself) that also just going into edit mode on the chair/couch/thingy resets you to the correct position.

Why shold we have to take the extra step to do that? If I were on a free accout, maybe I would not mind. But I pay $125/month tier fee + maybe $100/month in linden purchases. Considering I'm paying them $225 or more a month, I expect simple things like this to work.'
Oh, and going into edit mode did not work for me. |

And you'll still look silly no matter how much you're paying them a month. |

Unless your $125/month of land is full of chairs and you spend your $100/month worth of L$ on buying new chairs, I don't see how this information is relevant. ![]() I pay $10/month, so am I 95.5% less deserving of chairs? ![]() |

Considering I'm paying them $225 or more a month, I expect simple things like this to work.' Oh, and going into edit mode did not work for me. There are two problems with this statement. Firstly, the chair problem is the fault of the scripter, not LL, because they don't control the chairs. Secondly, camping chairs are the last attempt of desperate players to bribe people to visit their properties, rather than attracting people because of quality. This same lame "payout for doing nothing" culture is what ruined Sims Online. Nip this pathetic practice in the bud before it ruins SL as well. Sitting in a circle of silence for hours whilst I sleep, for a few measly L$, is not my idea of fun, especially when my presence isn't appreciated by the property owner. They couldn't care less that you're there as long as they get your dwell time - and you know I'm right. Lastly, I guess much of your expenditure is buying L$ to fund the chairs to buy people's time to sit on your property? How about not wasting your money in that way, and perhaps using it on improving your property to get visitors through legitimate means? Lewis |

Firstly, the chair problem is the fault of the scripter, not LL, because they don't control the chairs. And you post would be entirely correct if they were talking about camping chair exploits. But they're not. They're talking about a bug that was introduced in the last update and subsequently fixed, where you couldn't actually sit on a prim anything in the correct position. |
