Newbie Question

Hey all
im obviously new here as you will see by my following question:

im looking to set up my own business here at second life
there really isn't much of a tutorial helping me out in what i would like to do
what i am interested in is doing research for any comapny that needs it
for example research on their customers, thier products or anything else that they may be interested in.........I am not getting a straight foward answer on how i would set it up

does anyone have an idea how i can start
or can lead me in the right direction?

for starters i'd suggest looking around to see whats already offered and decide if you have something novel and worthwhile to set up. For some reason I doubt any one is going to give you their ideas for a new business.

Use Find Places to teleport "New Citizens Inc. Plaza". There you'll find several general tutorials, plus a landmark to another tutorial that's specific to running a business (but has a L$25 entry fee). There's also a Making Money class at NCI, run there regularly.

Something that I think would be useful is finding out what advertising venues are the most successful for existing businesses. If you can find out the info on increased sales/traffic due to various ads in SL zines, fan-sites, billboards, classifieds, forum postings.. etc etc.. then I'd be willing to bet a lot of business owners would find that information useful.

Not quite sure how you'd sell that service.. I'm not that business minded, but it might be something to research.
