Help w/new skin

Well I bought a GREAT skin yesterday at X2:Exotica. Well....I got the skin on, but for some reason my old skin is still there too. It's like my face is the old one and the body is the new. When I put in "Worn" in inventory tab is still showing both skins as being WORN. Help!! I've even tried logging out and back but they are both still there. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Go into edit appearance, click 'skin', and have a look at the textures in the three boxes to the side. |

What Hiro said - remember the problems you had before with your makeup, Tatiana? That's it. If it won't let you take off the face, try just wearing your default newb skin first (it should knock the makeup off) and then putting on the X2. I tried on some X2 demos last night - hadn't been to their store in a while, and I really liked some of the skins. Not enough to replace my ND but they have VERY nice skins. |

From: Tatiana Sims OK......then what? If there is anything but the grey background with a cross there, click each in turn and select 'none'. That will clear any textures left that came with the old skin. If you have textures with the new one, you will then have to reapply them. |

From: Tatiana Sims Not sure what you mean? Sry....still so new to the game. :/ In the inventory there are icons on the left of the name indicating what kind of resource it is.

That's true....I forgot about the makeup. OK...I'll go back to newb (yuck!!) And start over. But first I have to unstick myself from the steps going into the house.....gawd, that's a whole OTHER problem! LOL I looked rather rediculous this morning when I had to leave for work!  I'm hoping when I log on I'll be safely positioned on the ground! lol |
