Referral bonuses

Hi! I'm new to forums, so I probably put this in the wrong spot, but it was worth a try.

I was recently referred to SL and used my friends name in the sign up area and he got a referral bonus. I am now thinking I would like to upgrade my account to a premium one and am wondering if he will get an additional bonus? I know the basic accounts get a L$1000 bonus and the premium accounts get up to L$2500 based on how long the referree stays. Does anyone know if the bonus will still kick in to the 2500 if I upgrade?

I hope you can understand this question.... :)

Thanks, I had that part down, but it doesnt specify if you had to join as a premium member from the start to get the 2500 or if it will be almost retro active...???

I don't think your friend will get any additional bonus. He's got the L$1000, and that's it.
