I speak and read Spanish... but I can't write... guess that doesnt help much huh?

Same for me, i speak and i can understand but writing in spanish is not my thing. LOL

Spanish is much more phonetic than English and very few exceptions.


only 5 vowels, always pronounced the same!


Join up on the group "Segunda Vida" and just watching others write it will teach you tons!

Are we talking about the same spanish? As long as you know what each letter sounds like, then you can write it, no? I always thought spanish was incredibly phonetic.

I really wish there was more spanish content in SL, my husband is from VeraCruz, Mexico and English is his second language, and I have tried to get him into SL but he doesn't feel confortable typing in English.... LOL well to be perfectly honest he can't type very well in Spanish either!

Compared to English it is INSANELY phonetic yes...

but you do have to know your accents and a few tiny exceptions.

like look at these two spellings

alluda

ayuda

both would be said the same but only one is right.

the forum is under second life group forums.

Post some ideas for events and lets get some spanish content.

Then we can say... when mexicans googled "Osos homosexuales" WHERE ARE THERE!
