So what they're admitting is basically the whole of Linden Lab is run by a computer, rather than having human input directing what gets done. The computer tells people what they are doing next.

And we pay for this crap.

No wonder nobody knows what's going on.

I can't help but bring to mind that video clip of Bill Gates demonstrating 'plug and play' at a big presentation... and being given the blue screen of death. Perhaps the forum closure is merely a result of a system crash, and the message should have been "Tell the forums we are finalising implementing Havok 4 next week" instead of "Implement havok by closing the forums next week".

Isnt this like the weekly bonus we used to get based on the ratings system? Wasnt that eliminated for us since it was gamed? They are all sitting there rating one another for bonus money? What about the membership rating them.....
I notice Philip states they have 60% productivity. 60%. 60%!!!!!!!!

productivity has risen to 60%

60% on an exam in school is not even a passing grade!

Skynet lagged all the time, changed permissions at random, lost people's inventories, threw people out of their cars when crossing borders and then destroyed their cars, and closed every week for the addition of unwanted features and new bugs?

Sheesh, I didn't know Skynet was that bad.
