In regards to these comments in the new event posting rules in the announcements...
From: Jesse Linden
In addition, your friends will now be able to post events on a parcel that you own. However, you must set that parcel to show up in Find Places as a Meeting Place. If your parcel is not set up as a Meeting Place, the parcel will not be available to your friends, but will continue to be subject to other availability rules.

* The parcel belongs to a friend, it is set to show in Find Places as a Meeting Place, and it is over 512 square meters.

What exactly are the rules that define who the friends are that can post an event for a parcel that someone else owns? If the only rule is that it needs to be a meeting place, does that mean once you list the parcel anyone can post an event for it, or is there some further restriction? I don't have SL accessible atm and I've never listed something as a Meeting Place so I'm wondering if maybe there's some way to specify who the "friends" are when you add the entry to Find Places?

I reckon that means Friends in your Friends list. Like, the Friends button, all that. :)

Do they mean greater than 512 or do they mean greater than or equal to 512?

If they latter it needs to be corrected.

Lol my entire calling card list transfered over to friend list, and i've been using the "add friend" as calling cards since they changed that.

There's going to be a lot of people who can have events on my parcel 0_0

Same here. My friends list is a bit out of control. If that's how it works I don't think it's gonna be much use to me. I'd much rather you could specify who could host events per parcel.

Glad to see them cracking down a bit on that events list though. That was certainly overdue.
