Apparently you have to own or be using more than 512m2 worth of land to post an event - unless it's on Governor Linden's land.

Did anyone else know this? Why the > 512m2 prerequisite?

Its been like that for ages hasn't it? Its so club owners don't split lots of little plots off so they can have lots and lots of events, as nimrod mentioned..

If people HAVE 512m2 lots, they CAN hold events.. Its 512m2 or over..

Thank you for clarifying that. The original post made it sound like people with 512m2 lots couldn't hold events.

Can lots be smaller than 512m2?

Building Contests?
11-30-2005 09:12
Just to make sure, people who don't own land can't in a practical sense hold a building contest unless they use some other landowners place and prim allotment since the sandboxes are not available for holding events in?

There used to be building contests in the Morris sandbox, I greatly enjoyed both watching the other participants and performing my own little efforts there.

I forget where, but there's Linden stages where you can hold events. You just need to talk to a Linden to place the event for you. This is also true in Rizal, if you want to have a laser tag event, you can.

Morris is special because of it's proximity to the Welcome Area. I know, it's only virtual proximity, but still, you can see it from the WA, and get there without teleporting or a lengthy flight.

I don't think current stages aren't big enough for much of building contest.
