Greetings,

My name is Dominic.

I hail from Perth, Australia, and write for our campus online magazine Third Degree.

I write for the magazines health & technology section Double Helix, and am in the process of writing a story about how new technologies are changing the business side of both independant and major label music. The story will cover promotion and distribution through services such as MySpace, independant music labels selling through online services such as ITunes, and the live perfomances taking place on Second Life.

I would like to do a short, on-line interview with either a solo artist or band who uses Second Life as a way of perfoming shows.

The story is due Wednesday, 5 pm (Perth Time), so I would ideally like to do the interview in the next couple of days. It would only be a few questions, and can be done entirely by e-mail.

If anyone is interested, please comment and let me know.

Thanks.

Excellent!

What time zone do you reside in, so I know what time to best contact you.

My e-mail is dwpearce@student.ecu.edu.au, do you think you could contact me there? I'll forward you a short list of questions. It's the easiest method I've found thus far for online interviews.

Cheers!

Just to follow up, if for some reason the interview arranged above should not work out, I would be happy to arrange an interview with the wonderful Cylindrian Rutabaga, for whom I have recently taken the position of publicity manager.

P2

(Don't worry, all you other wonderful SL Live Musicians will still get your due in the M2. :D
