At the risk of repeating something posted in other places I'd like to add my 2L to the forums posts...
I got 2 abuse reports resolved emails...i went to the blotter and low and behold there was nothing there..since i know the reasoning behind the slap on the wrist this person got I wont elaborate on my feelings however I do suggest they do away with the annoying vagueness of the blotter and keep the forums...at least here the great people in second life try to help others and if they cant they make it not seem as bad through humor or other means..
I have found anger..symapthy..empathy...humor..and downright nastiness in the forums...that is fantastic compared to the bland nothingness in the police blotter..
the last shred of faith I had in LL is now gone...I am a true second life cynic now...

I filed at least 7 reports on the same person who is also underage and a member of the LL instructor n townhall and other groups like the olympic committee...how foolish do they look for working with a teen??? maybe thats why it got "resolved" yet didnt show up.....ok im done now lol... packs her bags for the vacation coming up via banning or lockout giggles.... rain |

I don't think the blotter shows all actions taken; according to the police blotter page: From: someone The Second Life Police Blotter displays the 25 most recent disciplinary actions taken by the Second Life Abuse Team. Given how many people use SL and how many people are likely to be shooting other people with push guns, etc. I suspect that 25 is but a tiny fraction of what could be there. When the discussion forums here close people who want to use forums will go to resident run or other third party forum sites.
