could we get a forum module like this?

Example:
- Automated spelling bans: someone use "u" instead of "you" in a sentence, --> 24 hours forum ban

- Automated ban for grammar. The forum has a system that deducts points from your 'smartness' level every time you post something dumb (spelling, grammar). If you were at the top of the dumb list during an hour, you get a 12 hours forum ban.

-Automated caps ban: if your post contain more than 6 consecutive caps letters (in consecutive words) --> 12 hours ban

-Forbidden words ban: 12 hours ban if your post contain one of the forbidden words ex: fag,nazi,nigger,hitler,...

less work for the lindens, less work for the resmods

I agree completely.

Add to it...

Automated capitalization bans:
-Someone starts a sentence without a capital letter, --> 24 hours forum ban

Great idea, you owe us about 4 or 5 days worth of bans just for this post.

The original poster would be banned from posting. In point of fact, most every human being not in the habit of proofreading their every word would likely be banned.

I suppose the forums would be a quieter place.

Oh, I would so approve this. Please also include the following:

Auto-ban if it detects more than 5 lines of text without a period.
Auto-ban if it detects more then 15 lines of text without a paragraph break.

Sorry, but there are so many forum posts I read here that makes a 14-year-old valley girl with an itchy SMS texting thumb look like goddamn Shakespeare. While I do make mistakes from time to time, I also make it a point to flog myself on my back 5 times with my purple gel dildo keyboard palm rest if I realize I screw up on an its/it's.

I can be such a grammar nazi from time to ti.. Eep! Wait! I didn't mean to say naz.. AAAA!
