Ok when hubby and I started in 2004, we at that time had created 5 different names...our two main names Nyx Divine and Vince Wolfe and 3 alts if you will. All created for a land group. And initially all 5 accounts were premium. Lets call them alt's 1, 2 and 3. Since then, in the last couple months, I have created two other alts. Unverified of course. Lets call them alts 4 and 5. Now today I am scrambling to answer the security questions and change passwords for all 7 names. But I may have made a huge mistake! The first three alts even after dropping them down to basic were still recieving the full weekly stipends, but two of the three OLDER alts I didn't attempt to change first, I instead worked on all of our accounts in no particular order and THUS far I have changed the passwords for 5 of our 7 accounts but the two I haven't recieved an email on to follow the link are two of the stipend recieving alts. SO my mind wonders, now that I have 'registered' 5 accounts (thank god I did our mains first) will I be UNable to register the remaining two alts that recieve stipends because I have maxxed out for some reason. I hope the hell this makes sense. And I sure wish I had NOT changed my 2 unverifieds info and instead gone for the older alts, because not only do they recieve a small stipend, but they are 2 of the five officers who own our land.

None of your accounts will be lost because of the password being reset. If you are having problems resetting the password via the secondlife.com/password link, then you should ocntact support on Monday, when we will have an alternate method of verifying your identity.

I just had a lovely thought, maybe someone can confirm this.....since we can access 3 of our 5 land group officers if i could never get them back in-world could we not 'oust' them? Take away their officer status by some vote thingy?

Take away their officer status by some vote thingy? Yes, contat Live Help and if you are the "Owner" you can ask for an officer to be removed. Not sure how the 1.12 group tools affected this, someone who plays with groups more than I should answer, but have you tried to remove a non-Owner manually through the new interface? If this doesn't work, I can confirm that an "Owner" can get an "Officer" removed.
