I was wondering if anyone has a successful tale of third-party mediation in SL. It seems like conflicts are typically aired in the forums, stifled by the Lindens, and then forgotten by the masses. Has anyone ever engaged a resolution process more sophisticated than this?

Do you think this kind of service would be useful to the greater SL? Given my recent experiences and desire to solve problems constructively for mutual benefit I think I'd like to offer such a service in the future. What are your thoughts on this?

They were both bickering over the sandbox spot I had already staked out. I shot them both, sending them very, very far away. That counts?
