In Find Places, there's two text boxes - the usual one on the left, and another, to the right of the category dropdown and just before the "search" button. I think this is new to 1.7, though I can't say I've been paying much attention to Find Places lately, so I could be wrong.
Anyone know how/if entering text into the one on the right modifies your query? All my attempts to enter text in this box have resulted in no search results.

When I enter some search string in the left box and a sim name in the right box, I get search results matching that string only for the specified sim. This seems to work only using the complete sim name, though.

Ah! Yes, that makes sense. They should really have it auto-fill/generate dropdowns like in the Map interface. Thanks Hiro! And Jackal!
