A few weeks ago I was in Rausch, doing what people there do, shoot other people.
I saw a bunker, and my mini-map told me it was occupied. Hooray! HC-800 test#7!
So, I go to town and unload on the thing. A few minutes later, I get an IM from someone bitching at me about shooting her. Apparently she was building and claimed to build there all the time.
My first thoughts-Wow, this is one dumb broad. She may as well be playing in the street!
After a few messages back and forth, I tell her it doesn't matter what she was doing there, it's a combat zone. A sandbox too, yes, but there are many that arent combat zones!
She diddn't get it. Apparently, no matter what it's common courtesy to leave builders alone no matter where they are. Either way, I wouldn't have gone over to the bunker, knocked and asked if anyone was building in there.
So, my afterthoughts-Wow, this is one dumb broad. Maybe I should buy her a helmet.
This ever happen to anyone else?

Hell I learned a lesson about common courtesy in Rauch. It doesn't matter even if you annouce no itnent to fire, just came to test a weapon and are looking for a -willing- target to report damage amounts etc. Rausch = combat zone. People don't like it? Don't go there.

Nitwit guntwit + random target = yelling.
How single-digit IQ does someone have to be to fully expect they wont get eventually yelled at for random gunfire?

[LINDEN LOCATION]" There IS a weapons testing No Damage sandbox, but this ain't it. Rausch has a sim called "Blue HQ" and "Red HQ" on each side of it. While I'm not totally sure how one establishes their redness or blueness, I'm sure someone will fill us in. |
