One of the new features of 1.10.0 is that default "left click" options can be set by an object owner/creator. Among useful options like sit/touch/pay (which will bring up the quick-pay box to allow you to pay an amount), the option to "buy" also appears...
...I am really, really, really concerned that "buy" is an available default left-click option. As far as I understand the release notes, no menu, no confirmation, no anything will appear when you left-click an object--simply the default behavior...so...if I were a griefer...I would simply create a chair...place it in a myriad of places...and make the default left-click option "buy" with a price of...oh...L$1000.
...There are bound to be at least a few people who walk up to the chair and decide to "sit" in it. They will left click the chair and all of a sudden find themselves owning a copy of it and realize that their pockets are L$1000 lighter. An abuse report would result in "Well, I created a chair, placed it for sale, and it's not MY fault no one knows about the new left-click functionality"...
"Buy" as a left click option = bad.

So you're saying that it doesn't pop up a dialog box like right click and buy does? Or are you just randomly throwing out invalid comments?

The left click buy option only takes away the need to right click and select buy. Once it is "left clicked" a box appears with the content information and requires the user to select okay to buy. Plus a "$" sign appears over the cursor once it is positioned over an object with the left click buy option enabled. Sorry griefers... this idea won't work!

I find it hard to believe that a purchase without confirmation option would never be introduced into LSL due to the rampant fraud that would explode all over the grid.

The same with the pay option, provided the correct script is within the contents. The user has to agree to pay the object either a predetermined amount via script or choose an amount.
The only thing that we may see occur is unwitting passerbys touching an object and sitting down. That could be quite annoying, come to think of it... and griefers are masters of annoying me!

LOL Then, of course, what the heck is the point of a left-click sit?
