The SL forums are shutting down, leaving many scrambling to create new forums around their person cliques and ideologies. Ironically, the SL forum in its final days is the place where these new forums vie for membership.

Forum wars begun they have.

I'm not going anywhere. When they lock the doors, I will be hiding in one of the less trafficked forums where they won't think to look for me. I'll spend the remainder of my Mfume days wandering from thread to thread inserting words here and there to change the meanings. Should you find an oddly placed "please", "thank you", and, of course, "hush" you will know I'm still here, tidying up for posterity. I just can't walk out and leave behind a place in shambles before moving on.

Hmmm...what color should I paint General? A neutral biege would certainly be ironic.

In my opinion this would be a terrible waste. Some of my favorite laughs came from your posts. The General does not look ready to retire yet to me.

you forgot to mention how your mods , lets say, "rephrase" posts to mock your community members

i always wondered what it would be like to have my words twisted around on a forum by the mods, thanks to you, now i know!

thats an important benefit of your forums, i wouldnt want you (or anyone) to forget it

but, i guess thats what you could expect when bribing someone... you buy them and then have rights to them and thier words

its almost ethical if you think about it
