Anyone know how one goes about getting an Avatar for a corporation so it can own property in-world?

Email support. LL has been known to work out contracts with companies in the past. Pricing will depend on the needs of the company (private sims, custom last name, etc).

I've already got an email in to support and while I know they're working to make support replies speedier I don't have good experience.

Just looking for a typical Av right now that corporate representatives can use to manage properties on the mainland at least initially, but it will own islands in the future if things go well.

Thanks!

There is no need to inform the Company, really, any more than you would need to inform the county that you are driving a business vehicle over their roads instead of a personal one.

Merely incorporate, and open a bank account in the corporation's name.

Use the corporate bank account's credit card to create your avatar.

Whenever you purchase $L or land for business purposes, note why, and list in expenses. Capture your transaction history and whatever else you can, and attach it as evidence of the purchase.

Whenever you sell $L (for that is the ultimate goal of any in-world business) list it as income.

Due to the terms of service, only you can be personally responsible for your own avatar (as opposed to your business), so your business will have to deal with 'you' separately.

Your business self will have to write a check to your personal self, to cover the cost of you creating the avatar, and you will be responsible for it. Much like a salesman using a personal car to do business, then billing a company for mileage.
